1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Kattoc ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including shop owners who manage bookings and clients who book appointments.
2. Description of Service
Kattoc is a software-as-a-service platform that enables barbershop owners to accept online appointment bookings from their clients. The Service includes:
- Online booking pages for client appointments
- SMS confirmations and reminders via third-party providers
- Dashboard for managing bookings, services, and team members
- Mobile applications for shop management
3. SMS Terms of Service
By providing your phone number and completing a booking on Kattoc, you expressly consent to receive automated transactional SMS text messages related to your appointment. This consent is not a condition of purchase, and you are not required to consent to receive SMS messages to use our Service (though you may not receive booking confirmations and reminders without SMS consent).
Message Types and Frequency
You will receive transactional messages only, including:
- Verification codes for authentication
- Appointment booking confirmations
- Appointment reminders (24 hours and 2 hours before)
- Cancellation and rescheduling confirmations
Message frequency varies based on your booking activity (typically 2-4 messages per appointment). This is not a marketing program.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages. To resume messages, reply START.

Privacy
Your mobile phone number and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for complete details on how we handle your information.
4. User Responsibilities
As a user of the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- Not use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- Obtain appropriate consent from clients before collecting their information
- Handle client data in accordance with applicable privacy laws
5. Payment Terms
Shop owners who subscribe to the Service agree to pay the applicable subscription fees. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law.
We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kattoc disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties of non-infringement
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties that the Service will meet your specific requirements
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KATTOC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages for:
- Lost profits or revenue
- Lost business opportunities
- Lost data or information
- Business interruption
- Disputes between shop owners and their clients
Liability Cap: In no event shall Kattoc's total liability exceed the amount you paid to Kattoc during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers for SMS messaging (Twilio), payment processing, and other functionality. Kattoc is not responsible for:
- SMS delivery failures or delays caused by carrier networks or third-party providers
- Payment processing errors or disputes
- Any issues arising from third-party service outages or changes
Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kattoc and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any disputes between you and your clients.
10. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Kattoc may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.
